Ronald K. Downs, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Hand surgeon Ronald K. Downs, M.D., F.A.C.S., is the founder of The Centre, P.C. and The Centre for Working Hands, with locations in Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Medical Association and the Indiana State Medical Association. Other memberships include the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Ohio Valley Plastic Surgery Society and Rush Surgical Society.

He completed his plastic surgery training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Centre in Chicago. He has practiced hand reconstruction and rehabilitation in the Michiana area since 1992. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Although Dr. Downs’ board certification and credentials attest to his knowledge, he is greatly recognized for his hand surgical skill. Dr. Downs has a stellar reputation and takes immense pride in helping his patients achieve a natural appearance.
