Danielle
Director of Reconstructive Patient Services
Danielle oversees all the functions of patient services in the reconstructive area. She is responsible for smooth patient flow from intake, to surgery and further treatment, and finally discharge. She also manages referrals, medical records, and various aspects of insurance including workers’ compensation.
Danielle earned a bachelor’s degree in business management with high honors. In her free time she stays active with her family and friends, and also enjoys digital photography. |

Angel
Communications/Reconstructive Coordinator
Angel’s responsibilities include reconstructive patient intake and office communications. She collects patient intake information and prepares each patient for their appointments. She receives and distributes messages, phone calls and patient information. She also helps coordinate various scheduling activities. Angel is a integral part of our ongoing file digitization process.She spends her free time with her husband and her twin boys.

Matt
Medical Transcriptionist
Matt is responsible for document workflow within the office. He transcribes provider dictations and ensures appropriate documentation for every patient. He also prepares various mailings and assists with office projects as necessary. Matt is an fundamental part of our ongoing file digitization program. In his leisure hours, he enjoys Cubs baseball, IU basketball and weightlifting. |

Barb
COTA/Director of Rehabilitation Services
As the Director of Rehabilitation Services, Barb is responsible for the overall operations of the department and supervision of the staff. Her work also includes the hiring and training of all staff in Rehab. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, she also works closely with the Occupational Therapist to implement and carry out specific treatment plans. Due to the complexity of the hand injuries seen at The Centre for Working Hands, her skills also include custom splinting.

Susan
Registered Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist
Susan is dedicated to the field of occupational therapy, with more than 30 years experience. For most of those years, she has specialized in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. She thrives on the challenges each patient brings to therapy, from traumatic injuries to cumulative trauma, arthritic conditions and congenital anomalies.
Susan has expertise in splint fabrication and a multitude of treatment techniques, including IASTM, kenesiotaping, desensitization program, lymphatic/edema management techniques, patient education in the use of assistive devices/adaptive techniques, body mechanics and ergonomic techniques. Susan also performs job coaching and site assessments to facilitate the patient’s safe and timely return to work and treatment can be customized to their specific work requirements. |

Helen
Registered Occupational Therapist
Helen works with clients who have received traumatic or cumulative trauma injuries involving the hand. She enjoys working with clients of all backgrounds and ages. She says that the sense of achievement and recovery her clients receive is what makes the hard work and continued learning worthwhile.
When not at work, Helen, along with her husband, is the director of a puppet ministry at her church. She enjoys being with family, especially her grandchildren, and golfing with her husband. |

Wendi
Patient Care Assistant
Wendi ensures that the patient flow in the Rehabilitation department is a seamless process. She assists our occupational therapist with all types of patient care modalities
When not at work, Wendi enjoys spending time with her family and friends. |
