The Deep Tissue / Sports Massage is similar to the Swedish technique, but with more stretching and precise work on tense musculatures. Known more for its therapeutic than relaxing effects, Deep Tissue Massage increases circulation and eases muscle tension. Your therapist may use a special lotion designed to increase circulation to specific muscles.

Esalen Massage

A holistic treatment, the Esalen Massage is a one-of-a-kind body work that encompasses body, mind and spirit. Intuitively, the therapist works not only on your physical needs, but unruffles and balances your inner energy systems. Esalen is an unstructured treatment that combines classical Swedish massage with a precise manner of working with muscles and the circulatory system, as well as the deeply personal sensing work brought from Germany by Charlotte Selver.
