Four Join The Centre, P.C.

Elkhart, IN — The Centre, P.C. announces the addition of four staff members.

Sharon Covello, RN, BSN, joins The Centre, P.C. as Operating/Recovery Room (Circulating) Nurse. She has 10 years in nursing, including extensive emergency room and intensive care unit experience at Newark Beth Israel Medical Centre (Newark, NJ). She also served as the Clinical Care Specialist Manager at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Centre (New Brunswick, NJ). Covello holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of South Florida.

Lavene Fragale has been hired as a Patient Care Assistant. Her background includes serving as a Medical Assistant at both Saint Joseph’s Visiting Nurse Association (South Bend, IN) and New Beginning OB/GYN (Elkhart, IN). Fragale holds an associate’s degree in medical assisting from Michiana College (South Bend, IN) and is certified in CPR.

Laura L. Slabach joins The Centre, P.C. as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Most recently, she was a Physical Therapy Assistant with Quest Therapy Services (Mishawaka, IN). Slabach holds an associate’s degree in applied science from the Central Ohio Technical College (Newark, OH), where she also participated in the physical therapist assistant program. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is GISTM (Graston Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) certified.

Tracey Szymczak, RN, has been hired as an Operating Room Nurse. Previously, she served as Registered Nurse/Office Manager at the Women’s Care Centre (South Bend, IN). Her work experience also includes RN positions with Cambridge Family Medicine (Mishawaka, IN) and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Centre (South Bend, IN). Szymczak holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Bethel College (Mishawaka, IN).
