Lain
Executive Director
Lain is the Executive Director of The Centre, P.C., where she has managed since inception a  large staff of team members under two physicians in a facility with a AAAASF-certified operating room (The Centre L.L.C.), occupational therapy (The Centre for Working Hands) and medical spa services (Centre Yourself) located in two offices – Elkhart and Mishawaka. Prior to 22 years of plastic surgery administration, here and in Chicago, she began her career as an international private banker in New York City and then as a dealer finance lender outside Philadelphia. Lain grew up in Waverly, New York and graduated with a B.A. from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) in Glenside, PA. She also received a Certificate in Executive Management in 1996 from Notre Dame and is bilingual in Spanish.

In 2001, she served as the national president for the Plastic Surgery Administrative Association and has served on the board of the Economic Development Corporation for Elkhart County as well as a director on the board of the former Elkhart Community Bank. In 2008 Lain served as the Chairman of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce. Currently she serves as Vice President of the Samaritan Center in Elkhart and is an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Elkhart.

After hours, Lain enjoys entertaining family and friends, tailgating, boating, and being active in church activities.

Nancy
Director of Administration
As the Director of Administration, Nancy is responsible for all Human Resource functions, assists with various daily operational functions and numerous compliance programs. Nancy joined our practice with over 20 years of Human Resource experience having a dual Bachelor´s degree in Business/Human Resources from Indiana Tech. Her previous HR positions in the RV and pharmaceutical manufacturing fields allow her to aid in streamlining processes here at The Centre, P.C.

Away from work, Nancy and her husband enjoy spending time with their seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. When not at the soccer of softball fields, Nancy enjoys cooking and crafting.

Kevin
Controller
With a dual Bachelor’s degree from Malone University in Accounting and Business Administration, Kevin serves as Controller by maintaining the financial well being of our practice through maintenance of financial records, supervising Accounts Receivable and Purchasing and creating and nurturing excellent relationships with vendors and advisors. Through Kevin’s astute understanding of Expense and Revenue Management—monitoring budgets, inventory levels, evaluating contracts, and controlling costs, Kevin is indeed, a welcome addition to our Management Team.

Kevin utilizes these business skills in his personal life too, as he runs a large farm. He has assistance from his wife and six children with taking care of the cattle and many daily chores. Kevin relaxes with an occasional game of basketball and coaches and referees soccer.

Barb
Senior Accounts Receivable Assistant
With over 20 years of dealing with insurance companies to resolve billing denials/questions, interpreting those difficult explanation of benefit forms, and knowledge of proper CPT and ICD-10 Coding to ensure accurate billing, Barb brings a solid knowledge base to her responsibilities with patient accounts.

When not at work, Barb enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and cooking.

Sam
Purchasing/Facility Maintenance Coordinator
Sam’s responsibilities are quite varied at The Centre, P.C.—from purchasing for every entity within our practice, doing routine maintenance within the facility, taking care of shipping and receiving, and scheduling special projects to list a few, Sam’s day is always busy. Sam’s unique skill set is very appreciated by all staff and when we have an issue, Sam is our “go to” fix-it person.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys time with family, cookouts and camping.

Katie
Director of Marketing
Katie graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's of Business in Marketing and joined our practice with an extensive marketing and e-commerce background. As the Director of Marketing, Katie coordinates and implements all marketing campaigns, handles all advertising efforts, email marketing initiatives, and social media marketing campaigns. When not in the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and playing with her dog, Harley.

THE CENTRE FOR WORKING HANDS

Barb
Director of Rehabilitation Services, C.O.T.A
As the Director of Rehabilitation Services and a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Barb manages all rehabilitation services at The Center for Working Hands. Barb joined The Centre, P.C. in 1997, as a Certified Occupational Therapist, along with her administrative duties she manages her staff and provides on-site treatment/education in injury prevention. Barb works closely with the Occupational Therapists on implementing and monitoring specific treatment plans for patients who have suffered traumatic hand injuries, Cumulative Trauma Disorders, or other injuries to their hands or upper extremity.

In her spare time, Barb enjoys spending time with her husband and five grandchildren, traveling and working in her garden.

Keely
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (C.O.T.A.)
With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Indianapolis, and an Associate degree in Applied Science in OTA from Lake Michigan College, Keely works closely with staff and other Occupational Therapists to implement and monitor specific treatment plans for patients who have suffered traumatic hand injuries, Cumulative Trauma Disorder or other injuries to their hands or upper extremities.

When not at work, Keely enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and being outdoors.

Wendi
Patient Care Assistant
Wendi utilizes her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate to keep the Rehabilitation area efficient by expediting the flow of patients, reducing wait time and assisting with her bubbly personality to make the therapy patient’s experience a positive one. Wendi schedules appointments and assists the occupational therapists with all types of patient care modalities.

Wendi enjoys spending time with her daughter, granddaughters, family and friends.

Jodi
Director of Surgical Services, RN, BSN
Jodi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marian College in 1995 and her Communications and Business degree from Butler University in 1989. As Director of Surgical Services, Jodi delegates work related responsibilities with operating room staff, oversees the function of operating room, PACU, step down unit, pre and post-op. Jodi’s staff provides comprehensive nursing care during the preoperative phase, coordinates patient care with other health team members and functions as a patient advocate emphasizing the Patient Bill of Rights.

Jodi enjoys experiencing life and people of diverse cultures whether it’s traveling or in her own community. Jodi has a passion to pursue things in life that build and strengthen her faith.

Larry
Certified First Assistant (C.F.A.)
Larry has worked at The Centre, P.C. for more than thirteen years as a Certified First Assistant (CFA). His position rotates between The Centre's highly skilled Board Certified Plastic Surgeons, while assisting the rest of the OR team. Larry’s never-ending dedication to superior patient care and extensive knowledge within the plastic surgery world (consisting of both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures) has been a steadfast part of our accredited surgical team.

When not spending time with the family, Larry enjoys traveling and physical conditioning.

Tracey
Surgical Nurse Coordinator, RN
Tracey works in collaboration with the OR Team and is an integral part in the Operating Room, PACU, step-down unit, and pre- and post-operative areas. Tracey received her nursing degree from Bethel College and has over ten years of skilled surgical nursing with our practice. Her expertise in patient care, in conjunction with other OR team members, gives quality care and to all patients and she is highly valued by all.

Outside of work, Tracey loves enjoying life with her husband and two boys.

CENTRE YOURSELF

Sharon
Certified Massage Therapist, LPN, CMT, ET
Sharon, our Massage Therapist who is state licensed (including locally for Mishawaka), holds a certification in Endermologie®, and is a licensed Practical Nurse. Sharon recently received Level One certification in cancer massage from Prairie Creek Massage in Sycamore, IL. She provides a wide spectrum of massage which includes Post OP Lymphatic, Swedish Deep Tissue, Cancer Massage, Myofascial release, Integrated, Reflexology, Craniosacral, and Healing touch. If you don’t see a specific massage treatment menu, just ask. Sharon is very versatile and creative.

When not in the office, Sharon enjoys time spent with family and friends, losing herself in a good novel, painting watercolor pictures, and photography.

Jill
Licensed Aesthetician & Cosmetologist
Licensed in Aesthetics and Cosmetology by the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in East Lansing and having previously worked six years in Charlotte, NC as an aesthetician, Jill’s responsibilities consist of all aspects of skin care treatments and products. Jill performs skin consultations, Visia® Complexion Analysis, facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, body and facial waxing, laser hair removal, and manicures and pedicures, including training in shellac manicures.

During her off hours Jill enjoys cooking and baking, learning how to snowboard, and spending time with friends and family.

Halie
Licensed Aesthetician
As a recent graduate of the Aveda Institute for Esthetics in Chicago and having aquired an Associate's degree in Marketing from Harrison College, Halie joins our staff as a licensed Aesthetician. In the 2011 Edwin Neal Competition Halie received second place in the Full Potential Award and has applied make-up for Ford models. Halie is quickly learning the many skin care treatments and products we have to offer our patients. Halie will perform facials, chemical peels, body and facial waxing, skin consultations and Visia® analysis for starters as she continues to pursue evening classes to enhance her skills.

Halie enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kim
Licensed Aesthetician
A native of Elkhart, Kim graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor degree in Theology. She then continued on receive her Aesthetic training at Naperville Skin Institute just outside of Chicago. Kim’s expertise within the industry includes laser treatments, makeup application, waxing, microderm, chemical peels, customized facials, and skin analysis. With the purpose of achieving a balance in the skin’s overall health and appearance, Kim assists patients to project their inner beauty outward allowing them to leave feeling confident, beautiful, and radiant.

Kim enjoys fine cuisine and entertainment, so she is the person to ask about the local eateries and hot spots in the area.

Callie
Certified Massage Therapist and Licensed Cosmetologist
Callie is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing at Ivy Tech. She is State Certified in Massage Therapy through American College Massage School and a Licensed Cosmetologist from Vogue Beauty School. Callie helps her clients stay their best with manicures, pedicures, and massage. When not in the office, Callie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, spoiling her nephew, traveling, reading, and relaxing.

Leslie
Medical Spa Coordinator
Leslie is currently a student at Bethel College. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management. Prior to her studies at Bethel, Leslie earned an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management from Kendall College. At The Centre, P.C., Leslie helps to manage inventory, schedule appointments, promote products, and assist in the daily operation of The Centre Yourself Spa. When not in the office, Leslie likes to travel, spend time with her family and friends, go to the beach, shop and tailgate.

Pam
RN BSN MEP-C
Pam performs a variety of procedures including Botox, Dysport, Juvederm Injections, Derma Fillers, LimeLight, Pearl Laser, Laser Genesis, Titan and many other laser procedures. She has over 23 years of nursing experience in a trauma and ER setting. Pam is also a member of the American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals. She participates in many community activities including, Toys for Tots, Relay for Life, and The Miss Mid East Indiana Pageants. When not in the office, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Cindy
Director of Patient Services
As a 20+ year veteran in the medical field, Cindy brings a unique skill set to The Centre P.C. She has been a computer application analyst, a Manager of Access Services/Registration, a Marketing Account Manager for a local radio station, and a Financial Counselor/Collection Representative besides being a licensed cosmetologist. All this vast knowledge is what it takes to create a productive, proactive yet compassionate Patient Services team. Cindy’s working experience is being utilized presently to assist both the Clinical and Medical Spa staff.

Cindy’s free time is spent with her husband and three boys. Her passion is photography and music.

Lavene
MA, Patient Care Assistant
Lavene provides pre- and post-operative surgical patients with additional information about their cosmetic and reconstructive procedures in the Inform and Consent process. She has been highly skilled in wound care and surgical dressing for over ten years, and takes pride in providing personal care to each and every patient.

In her free time, Lavene loves to spend time in the kitchen cooking.

Jessica
CMA, Patient Care Assistant
As a Certified Medical Assistant for five years, Jessica specializes in minor procedures and wound care. Not only does Jessica take responsibility for efficient patient flow throughout the day while working with our physicians but she also provides patients with vital information prior to surgery through the Inform and Consent process.

Outside the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Andrea
Communications Coordinator
Andrea is most likely the smiling face you see upon entering through our Clinical doors. Andrea’s calm personality directs you through the check-in, insurance inputting process and aids you in getting that follow-up appointment made. Some of Andrea’s many other duties include verifying the transcription process for completeness and accuracy and sending requested medical information by patient’s providers to aid in claim reimbursement/payment.

Andrea enjoys her free time boating, reading, and spending time with family.

Renee
Cosmetic Coordinator
Renee specializes in our Plastic Surgery services as well as our Centre Yourself spa services. She helps answer any questions clients and patients may have along the rejuvenation process. Renee has a thorough understanding of all cosmetic procedures offered by our two board-certified plastic surgeons, as well as the spa’s many other services. Renee is currently taking classes to further her education in the medical field. She has found great pleasure in working with the patients here at The Centre, P.C.

When not at work, Renee loves spending time with friends and family as well as enjoying her many gardens.
