Will the fat come back?
No. Once the fat is removed from those areas, it will not return. You may still continue to gain and lose weight in those areas, but you will maintain the contour the plastic surgeon has established for you. Another myth is that the fat will come back in other areas. Your surgeon will go over these concerns with you in detail at your consultation.
How will I feel after liposuction surgery?
You will most likely feel sore and bruised for a few days. Medication will be prescribed to help control the discomfort, although ultrasonic liposuction is generally well tolerated. Sutures will be removed approximately one week following surgery. You may resume normal activities within one week and strenuous activities within 3-4 weeks following surgery.
