Soft Tissue Fillers for Wrinkles and Lines
Soft tissue fillers, or dermal fillers, are used to help smooth facial lines and wrinkles. The
These fillers such as Radiesse®, Restylane®, Perlane®, and Juvéderm® XC erase fine lines and folds by adding volume beneath the skin’s surface to lift the skin and smooth the affected area.
How does a filler treatment for wrinkles or facial lines work?
The dermal fillers offered at Centre Yourself Medical Rejuvenation Spa can be easily administered by one of our Certified Medical Esthetic Practitioners and provide consistent results that will last for a significant period of time.
When soft tissue fillers are injected, a numbing cream is usually placed on the area of the injection to ensure your comfort. Then, using a small needle, the soft tissue filler is injected into each wrinkle or fine line that requires treatment. Some mild bruising, burning, and stinging is normal and will subside quickly.
Soft tissue fillers are commonly used in the smile lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth, otherwise known as nasolabial folds; and in the fine lines which form on the upper lip, otherwise known as vertical lip lines.
Pretreatment for injectables:
Avoid ASA, ibuprofen, vite, alcohol, fish oil, and flax seed oil seven days prior to injections to minimize bruising.
