From the Desk of Katherine:

“I would like to share my personal story with you which ignited my passion for aesthetics.

I am a mother, a wife, a daughter. I am motivated to touch as many lives as I possibly can. My story is personable, humble and worth sharing.

My young adult life encompassed raising children in an ever changing military setting. Packing and moving was the norm and so was the feeling of complacency and unrest. I felt lost in it all. My only motivation was the love I had for my boys and for my family, miles away. I did not like who I became and I did not like the reflection staring back at me, for it was a person I barely knew.

As I look back now, my weight escalated at the same pace as my emotional dependence. The need to become healthy was critical. I began surrounding myself with only things that were positive and the people that knew I was struggling. I began to physically challenge myself and set small goals of weight loss. The routine of working out at the same time every morning became my emotional and physical lifeline. Small steps became big steps and my transformation was underway.  Losing over 140 pounds changed the way I saw things, the way I know look at things.

Unfortunately, the world we live in discriminates against those who struggle with weight loss. It has been a process to dismiss the feeling of social rejection. Aesthetics empowered me. Aesthetics gave me a voice and a platform to speak, touch, learn and share. Aesthetics has become my gift to give. The very industry that helped me through all of the reconstructive procedures, aiding in dramatic weight loss, has also become my passion as a career. I am proud to say that I am healthier now than ever. I’m emotionally stronger and motivated to support those in need. Ask me about my weight loss journey.”
